1490 Received by Wilhelm von Bibra as fief
1602 At death of Heinrich von Bibra the Prince Bishop refused to sign off on the transfer of the fief to the protestant cousins of Heinrich leading to a decades long lawsuit. In 1681, an out of court settlement resulted in the Bibra family receiving Brennhausen instead of the wealthy forest estate of Burgwallbach.
